Detailed description
New Safe Confinement is an insulating arch construction over the 4th Power unit of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant destroyed in the accident. The abovementioned Object covered an obsolete “Shelter” (Chernobyl). The Arch has become the largest mobile structure.
“VTP Tranexpo” acted as a contractor for fire and security safety systems, performing the design, supply of equipment, as well as a set of installation and commissioning works for the following systems:
- Fire Alarm System;
- Gas automatic fire extinguishing system;
Public address system.
