Participation in the development of the NSC Olympiysky and Arena Lviv stadiums is one of the greatest achievements of the system integrator “VTP Transexpo”. The development and implementation of lighting systems for sports arenas deserve special attention.
Characteristics of the lighting system of the NSC OlYmpiysky
The lighting system of the NSC Olympiysky was developed in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the football organizations UEFA, FIFA. and athletics GAISF/IAAF. for lighting for television broadcasts of football matches and athletics competitions in high definition in HD format.
The stadium has 608 floodlights, half of which have a hot re-ignition function, which in turn can significantly increase the reliability of the system. 380 floodlights are installed on the roof in the form of a “burning ring” and 228 directly under the roof.
- The system allows operation in 7 different modes (game and training).
- The average vertical illumination level is more than 2400Lx
- The system provides uniform illumination of the field, excellent visibility for spectators, and also allows for television broadcasts of sports competitions held at the stadium, both in SD and HD quality.
- Remote control of the system is possible via BMS.
Characteristics of the stadium lighting system “Arena Lviv”
The field lighting system designed for the Lviv Arena also fully meets the requirements of UEFA and FIFA, providing an average vertical illumination level of more than 2000Lx.
There are 288 floodlights installed at the stadium, which provide operation in 5 different modes (game and training).
The system is fully remote-controlled via BMS, provides uniform field illumination, and also allows for television broadcasts of sports competitions in SD and HD quality.
The lighting system for the stands at the Lviv Stadium is designed to illuminate the spectator seats in case of insufficient external illumination, both before, during, and after events.
Emergency lighting of the Lviv Arena provides illumination of the stands exclusively in the event of emergency situations. This system is integrated with the fire alarm system.
